I kick off my day with the Program Coordinator. We bring each other up to speed on current office events and we then proceed to review the program schedule and budget. Once complete I meet with our sponsor to check in and provide him with a brief verbal status update before getting “Down to Business.”

Since joining Acentia I have been nothing but impressed. I value a company who values its employees; the employees are what ultimately make or break a company in my opinion. When I went to the first happy hour for the teams in my office, the CEO of the company was in jeans shaking hands, meeting and talking with the employees. He seemed genuinely interested in the people he had working for the company and was not too important show up or be involved in the event. I find this to be the case at each social I attended.

I start my morning drive at 7 AM. Fortunately it is through Rock Creek Parkway so I can enjoy the leaves changing colors and also occasionally pay attention to the traffic in front of me. My commute takes me past the Pentagon, and I make it into the office a little bit before 8:00 am.
