Acentia currently delivers technical and program management services to the SEC Division of Trading and Markets supporting its mission to provide day-to-day oversight, including market surveillance and analysis, of the major securities market participants. This includes management of business and technical requirements for a cloud-based implementation of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software. Acentia’s data monitoring support to the SEC leverages our core capabilities in Big Data and Informatics.

Acentia’s IT service management for the IRS has enhanced the department’s ability to plan and budget for operational and capital expenditures. Acentia’s ISO 20000-certified process led to a cost-effective, high-quality, IT framework for the IRS, resulting in a more stable, holistic, easily-managed IT best-practice environment. The IRS’s IT service management is more organized, streamlined, and repeatable, and IRS employees are better able to deliver reliable, timely services to their customers. In FY 2013, the IRS expects to identify nearly $71 million in cost savings from streamlining operations. Acentia’s support for the IRS aligns with our Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Center of Excellence.
