When the FAA needed to reduce their help desk support costs, they turned to the Acentia team to implement ITIL best practices in a new help desk design and operation, saving the taxpayers over $1.2 million a year in operating costs.

When the Obama Administration took office and needed to transition to a new administration that was fully operational in 90 days, they relied on the Acentia team to implement and operate a state-of-the-art computer and telecommunications system for the 1,300 member transition team.

When the U.S. Army needed to design a new computer system to manage over $1.2 billion of ammunition assets per year, they turned to the Acentia team to redesign and re-host the system to a modern, Web-based environment.

In addition to technology services required to update and maintain EDFacts applications, Acentia operated the Partner Support Center that supported all SEAs with data submissions for their K-12 education programs.

Working in partnership with AHRQ, Acentia developed a mobile ePSS application that allows end users, specifically clinicians, to browse and search the USPSTF clinical recommendations from their personal digital assistants (PDAs) or mobile devices. The intended target audience is primary health care providers such as physicians and nurse practitioners.

Acentia is supporting a multi-year IT transformation program at the Department of Interior that includes high-availability cloud solutions and collaboration technologies. DOI has achieved measureable results from data center consolidation and expects to realize overall savings of $100 million per year within a $1B IT budget.

The National Institutes of Health relies on Acentia to develop, operate, and enhance software information systems for grants and contracts, clinical research and trials, bioinformatics, scientific and medical activities, and business administration. For the National Cancer Institute, Office of Acquisition, Acentia-developed systems annually track and report almost 3000 award actions valued at over $1 billion.
